After 15 years of telling her mother that the family party store NEEDED to add event planning to its repertoire, Mariah McKechnie finally fulfilled that demand with the launch of Northland Special Events. The natural synergies between a retail party supply store & an events business were too strong to deny. With 10 years of education & experience on the East Coast, Mariah returned to Minnesota to bring her background as a wedding & event planner in Washington, D.C. to the Northland. This exciting new company promises to wow clients with stunning, memorable events that will reflect contemporary design and sophistication.
